Connect with industry leaders and problem solvers in the real world
Inspiring you to inspire our next wave of brilliant minds
STEM Nation is a breakthrough for teachers who truly understand the value of STEM education for Australia’s future, and that of their students.
Along with access to world-leading STEM teaching, resources and key leaders, the program directly connects high school educators with industry leaders across a broad range of sectors. Better still, the STEM Nation system links to, and complements, the national education curriculum.

STEM industry ‘Speed dating’
This professional development program puts educators and parents in direct contact with industry leaders and university academics. As a result, teachers are better equipped to meet the needs of students, and the people who will be hiring them. These events will give teachers the unique opportunity to meet with STEM leaders in a variety of industries, thereby making the teaching experience more relevant and engaging for all concerned.
A new STEM Nation initiative, this will give students and teachers the chance to hear from leading lights in the STEM world. These TED type talks will educate, empower and inspire, with industry leaders from Australia and overseas sharing their knowledge and experiences.
Nominate a future leader
We’re also relying on teachers to nominate students they believe have what it takes to be successful in a STEM career. Students brought to our attention will have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship, enrol in our STEM Sista or STEM Mista programs, or take an inspirational journey to one of the world’s great STEM icons via STEM Nation PLANET.
